Hong Kyung joins Kim Eun-hee’s new work “Devil” following Kim Tae-ri and Oh Jung-se… Perfect lineup

Actor Hong Kyung will appear in SBS’ new drama “Devil”, a new work written by Kim Eun-hee.

“Devil” is an occult mystery thriller in which a woman possessed by evil spirits and a man who can see evil spirits dig into mysterious deaths surrounding five different bodies in another world with evil spirits when the door is opened. Not only Hong Kyung but also actors with solid acting skills such as Kim Tae-ri and Oh Jung-se were cast to complete the perfect lineup.

In the drama, Hong Kyung plays Lee Hong-sae, a lieutenant from the Violent Crime Team who feeds off of his own pride. He is a character whose only goal is to get a special promotion, but as he gets involved with San-young (Kim Tae-ri) and Hae-sang (Oh Jung-se), he gets caught up in unbelievable events.

Hong Kyung, who is revealing his potential and building his own character in various works such as Netflix’s drama “D.P.”, KBS’ drama special “The Effect of a Finger Flick on a Breakup”, movies “Innocence” and “A Distant Place”, has established himself as an actor by winning the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards for Best New Actor – Film. He also showed his acting transformation through wavve’s original series “Weak Hero”, which was invited to the on-screen section of the 27th Busan International Film Festival. On top of that, attention is being paid to what kind of chameleon-like appearance he will present this time.

Meanwhile, “Devil” is scheduled to air in the first half of next year.
