On the October 7 broadcast of SBS’s variety show Dolsing Fourmen, a teaser clip featured Hong Jin-young alongside guests Jung In, Jo Jung-chi, and Yoon Ha-jung for a “Hot Issue Maker” special.

In the teaser, cast member Lee Sang-min referenced the viral “fancam” video that triggered rumors, saying, “Hong Jin-young’s fancam is blowing up.” The clip reportedly led some netizens to question whether she might be pregnant.

Looking visibly flustered, Hong Jin-young clarified that the rumors were baseless. When Tak Jae-hoon jokingly asked, “Was that edited?” , she responded, “No, I don’t look like that. The comments really hurt—‘three months,’ ‘six months,’ ‘she’s about to give birth.’ People said, ‘Feel her stomach.’”

The singer also touched on her boyfriend, revealing, “He practically lives at the gym,” when asked by Lee Sang-min if he encouraged her to manage her fitness. When Tak Jae-hoon playfully suggested her boyfriend might be Kim Jong-kook, a well-known fitness fanatic, Hong quickly denied it, saying, “No, it’s someone else.”

Elsewhere in the episode, humorous exchanges continued as Jo Jung-chi recounted injuring his knee from sneezing and Yoon Ha-jung playfully teased the cast with her “eye-contact flirting” techniques, only to quip, “It only works when there’s a handsome guy. There isn’t one here.”

Hong Jin-young’s clarification comes as yet another example of how quickly speculation can spiral in the digital age, especially for public figures. While the video may have caused a stir, she handled the rumors with honesty and humor.
