Here is the daughter of a Hong Kong star who used to have many Korean fans in the 90s

The Hong Kong star Koo Sook Jeong (Chingmy Yau) was greatly loved in the 90s both in her home nation and in Korea. Now, she has had three daughters, and all have inherited her outstanding beauty. Among them, the first daughter, Ayla (Sham Yuet), is working as a model.

Born in 2001, Ayla is a Kpop fan and has been studying Korean since she was 12. She recently returned to Hong Kong after staying in Korea for two months.

During her time in Korea, Ayla met Super Junior’s Kim Hee Chul and also appeared at official events such as the Dior 2022 Fall fashion show. There were also speculative reports by Chinese media that Ayla would make her debut in Korea.

However, Ayla herself refuted these rumors in a recent interview, saying that she was only working as a model while studying. According to the beauty, she has never been a trainee, and has no plans to debut in the entertainment industry in the near future.

Ayla’s mother Koo Sook Jeong (Chingmy Yau), was an outstanding contestant of Miss Hong Kong 1987, who earned love via her many works in the 90s, along with her cute appearance and spectacular martial arts skill.

Having worked with the most popular actors of the time, including Lee Yeon Geol, Jackie Chang, Yoo Deok Hwa, Stephen Chow, Jet Li, the actress obtained quite the number of fans in Korea. However, she left the industry for good in 1999, after marrying the fashion designer Sham Kar Wai, founder of the Hong Kong-based fashion and investment conglomerate I.T.
