Hanteo Music Awards’ “Poop Incident” was Fake? Fans of NCT Framed?
Various evidence emerged about Hanteo Music Awards’ “Poop Incident” after a netizen shared their full experience.
Previously, the 2023 Hanteo Music Awards became a hot topic after various alleged incidents occurred, including talks about a fan shitting near the artists’ seating area, causing poop to stink up the venue and sticking to other fans.
In addition, various images of idols who attended 2023 Hanteo Music Awards covering their noses and scrunching their faces emerged, with captions claiming that the idols could not handle the smell.
A netizen on SNS platform X also admitted that the person who caused the poop incident was them, even asking to pay for laundry fees of people who were affected. This netizen also claimed that they are an NCTzen (fan of NCT), drawing strong reactions.
However, another netizen who went to the show has provided evidence that all of the above may be a hoax.
According to said netizen, the viral expressions of idols was not because of the smell of poop, but because of the intense crowd pushing in the venue. As security was not enough to stop the crowd, idols who saw the scene were not covering their noses, but showing worries for fans who was falling right in front of them.
On top of that, the netizen also expressed that they believe the rumor about a fan shitting themselves was not true.
“I saw posts about it (poop incident) but there was no smell, at least not where I stood”, they said.
Meanwhile, the person who claimed that they pooped at Hanteo Music Awards later posted that their claim was just a hoax.
“Shitzennie, this is so funny”, they also said, suggesting that it was all a joke.
