Han So-hee Mentions Her Face Injury During ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ Filming, “I Was Greedy In Action Scenes”

Actress Han So-hee explained the situation when she got a face injury last year

The press conference for Netflix’s original series “Gyeongseong Creature” was held at Layer20 Studio in Yongsan, Seoul on December 19th. Director Jung Dong-yoon and the cast, including Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee, Soohyun, Kim Hae-sook and Jo Han-chul attended the event.

Set in Spring 1945, “Gyeongseong Creature” depicts the story of two young people confronting a monster born out of greed. 

At the press conference, Han So-hee mentioned when she was injured around her eyes during the filming of “Gyeongseong Creature” in August last year. The actress said, “I hurt myself because I was a little greedy”, adding “I was not the only person who got injured when doing action scenes. The stunt team was also injured and other actors who participated in the action scenes also got hurt. It’s an environment where you cannot finish any action scenes without getting hurt. If you are lucky, you may not get hurt at all, but if you do get hurt, it would be lucky if you only get small wounds. Once we started filming, everyone would sincerely focus on the work.”

She continued, “I was a little careless. I couldn’t distinguish between what I could do and what I could not do. I believe that if I had realized that beforehand, I might have been able to avoid injuries. I didn’t have to sacrifice my body for it. I feel regretful that I interrupted the filming process.”

Part 1 of “Gyeongseong Creature” will premiere on December 22nd. Part 2 is scheduled for January 5th.
