On March 5th, Han So-hee’s agency 9ato Entertainment explained the incident at the French event venue, which sparked controversy, through multiple media outlets.
A representative of the agency said, “It was a situation that arose due to the venue being too crowded. At the time, there were too many people at the event venue. All staff members were aware of the risk of accidents. Han So-hee and all staff members were asking for attention to be paid while proceeding with the event, saying ‘Please be quiet’ to the surroundings.”
They continued, “There was a DJ box nearby, so Han So-hee raised her voice to convey her message loudly. She did not shout at any specific individual. It seems that there was a misunderstanding. The video that sparked controversy was edited momentarily and may have been exaggerated. The party ended well in a friendly atmosphere.”
Han So-hee recently attended a party hosted by a high jewelry brand in Paris. On that day, she enjoyed the party with numerous people and took photos.
However, afterward, a video spread showing Han So-hee shouting “Please be quiet” to those around her at the party, sparking controversy.
In the video, Han So-hee can be seen preparing for a photo shoot, and when communication with the staff was not smooth due to the noisy surroundings, she eventually said loudly, with a stern expression, “Please be quiet.” After the scene quieted down, Han So-hee immediately focused on the shoot.
Due to the short duration of the video capturing the situation at the time, it was difficult to grasp the exact circumstances, leading to various interpretations. Opinions were divided between negative reactions criticizing Han So-hee’s behavior as excessive irritation and those suggesting that the noise might have been too disruptive for her to focus on the shoot, necessitating her loud request. With the agency’s clarification, the controversy is expected to be resolved.
