Han Hyo Joo, “My friends still wonder why I became a celebrity. I don’t want to go back to my 20s”

“Moving” actors Jo In Sung and Han Hyo Joo shared various stories during a recent interview with Harper’s BAZAAR Korea.

On August 21st, Harper’s BAZAAR Korea uploaded a new video titled “Hidden episodes of ‘Moving’ revealed by Jo In Sung and Han Hyo Joo”.

During a Q&A interview, the two received the question asking, “If you weren’t a celebrity, what do you think you would be doing?”. Jo In Sung said, “Han Hyo Joo has the face of a celebrity. She must be a celebrity with this face and physique. Is there anything else that suits her better than that?”, praising Han Hyo Joo’s beauty.

In response, Han Hyo Joo humbly said, “That’s what he says, not me. Many of my friends are still wondering why I became a celebrity”, adding “Personally, I think if I had played golf since I was young, I might have achieved a big dream”.

Jo In Sung added, “I also play sports. I might have become a Taekwondo master or instructor. I actually had a team and seriously considered doing it before becoming an actor”.

When asked, “What would you do if you could go back to your 20s?”, Jo In Sung replied, “Honestly, I don’t want to go back to when I was 20. Even if I could, I don’t think I would be able to live a better life than I did back then. I always do my best at every moment, so I think the present is the best”. Han Hyo Joo agreed, saying “So do I. I’ve also lived a passionate and hard-working life”.

In fact, Jo In Sung and Han Hyo Joo recently worked together in Disney+’s original series “Moving”.

Revealing some stories about the filming of “Moving”, Han Hyo Joo shared, “Since there are 20 episodes, the filming period was quite long. It started in the summer and ended in the summer of the following year”, adding “Naturally, we celebrated Christmas and New Year together on the set. The director felt sorry for that so he suggested we played Manito (a game similar to Secret Santa)”.

She continued, “We played Manito for a week and it was more fun than I thought. I arrived at the set one day and found chocolate on a chair with my name on it. I could still remember that atmosphere”.
