On Sep 26th, the first video titled “How Does Absolute Beauty Han Ga-in Live? (First House Reveal of Han Ga-in and Yeon Jung-hoon)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Free Wife Han Ga-in”.
Han Ga-in, who sent both her first daughter and second son to a gifted program, said, “My mom told me never to mention that they’re gifted because people might misunderstand. Being gifted doesn’t mean they are geniuses; it just means they learn and pick things up quickly. My first daughter spoke very early and learned Korean and English by herself at around 40 months. It was unusual. When I read books to her, she’d memorize them word for word. But she also has many areas where she’s lacking.”
She then made a surprising confession, “I lived with my in-laws for five years. I met Yeon Jung-hoon when I was 22, and we got married when I was 24. We got married in April, and my husband joined the military in November. I lived with my in-laws for five years.”
Han Ga-in also addressed past rumors, saying, “There used to be so many rumors about our relationship. People would say we didn’t get along, that we were ‘sham marriage’, or that we were separated or divorced. When we didn’t have kids for 6~7 years, those rumors started circulating. But now those rumors have faded. Back then, I wasn’t ready to have kids. If I had given birth right away, my child would be in high school now, and I don’t think I would have raised them well. I had my first child at 35, which I thought was too late at the time, but now I realize it wasn’t that late. For over ten years of our marriage, I constantly felt stressed, always wondering, ‘What should I say if people ask why we haven’t had kids yet?’“
