On April 18, a video titled “Can We Talk About That?” Bold Talk of Beautiful Actresses – Lee Ji Hye & Han Ga In was released on the YouTube channel Working Mom Lee Hyun Yi.

In the video, Han Ga In shared, “I didn’t go through adolescence at all when I was younger, but it came after I got married—around the age of 29 or 30.” She added, “I started asking the kinds of questions people usually ask during adolescence, like ‘What should I do with my life?’ I thought deeply about those things.”

She explained that this period of self-exploration led her to delay having children. “I felt like I couldn’t even take care of myself, so how could I raise a child?” she said honestly. “That’s why I think it was actually a good decision to have kids later.”

As time passed and she became more emotionally grounded, she also noticed changes after becoming a parent. Han Ga In shared, “After going through that period and having children, I don’t get angry easily anymore. I’ve come to understand my child’s behavior better,” drawing empathy from viewers.

Lee Hyun Yi asked whether her husband had a difficult time during that phase, noting that families often struggle when someone goes through adolescence. Han Ga In hesitated before replying carefully, “I think you’d have to ask my husband about that.”

After a moment of reflection, she added, “I think I nagged a lot back then. Looking back, there were probably many things about me he didn’t like or thought I should change, but he never expressed it.”

She continued, “I didn’t realize it at the time, but now I see that he must have let many things slide. So I think it might have been hard for him back then,” expressing her gratitude toward her husband Yeon Jung Hoon for his quiet understanding.

Meanwhile, Han Ga In married actor Yeon Jung Hoon in 2005. The couple welcomed their first daughter in 2016—11 years after marriage—and their son in 2019.
