Haechan of NCT has suddenly become the center of heated dating rumors after anonymous online posts alleged that the idol is in a relationship with a non-celebrity woman.
The rumors began spreading rapidly on social media after an anonymous poster uploaded what they claimed was “proof” of Haechan’s alleged romance. According to the claims, the pair were seen using matching couple items, including similar phone cases, with one reportedly customized using Haechan’s representative animal symbol.

Netizens also pointed to alleged matching accessories, including headbands said to have been worn during the same outing. Another claim suggested that a recent outing believed to involve Haechan and a male acquaintance was actually meant to disguise a date with his rumored girlfriend.
Adding fuel to the speculation, the anonymous poster further alleged that the woman was spotted in the guest section during an NCT DREAM concert, implying she may have received special access through the idol.

However, what has caused the strongest backlash is the circulation of alleged flight information showing Haechan and the woman supposedly traveling together to the United States. Fans were quick to point out that such private travel data is often illegally obtained and distributed by sasaeng stalkers.

Rather than focusing solely on the dating allegations, many fans have expressed outrage over the invasion of Haechan’s privacy. “Even if he is dating, leaking flight records is crossing the line” and “This is stalker behavior, not fan behavior.”
Others also questioned the credibility of the rumors themselves, arguing that the so-called evidence is weak, circumstantial, and easily fabricated.
As of now, neither SM Entertainment nor Haechan has responded to the allegations.
The controversy has once again sparked debate over sasaeng culture in K-pop, with many calling for stronger protections for idols against invasive stalking and privacy breaches.
