Goo Hye-sun Confessed She Has No Friends+ “The biggest mistake I made was born as me”

Goo Hye-sun drew attention for her recent honest confession.

In the latest episode of Channel A’s counseling show “Dr. Oh’s Golden Clinic,” which aired May the 30th, Goo Hye-sun appeared as a guest to share about her friends.

In this episode, when asked if she has any friends to share her sadness with, Goo said, “I just don’t have friends. I don’t like to go around in groups with other people, so I always meet my people one-on-one.” “It’s not comfortable at all for me to tell my friends what’s going on in my life, so my sadness gets heavier. I don’t understand why I should lean on others when I’m having a hard time,” she said. She said she tends to endure it by herself.

Asked what a friend was to her, Goo answered, “Someone to keep each other’s secrets.” “My standard for a dating partner is not high, but my friend’s hurdle standard is very high.” “Actually, I remember when I was young. I auditioned for a commercial when I was a rookie,” she recalled. “Lee Yoon-ji (actress) taught me how to treat seniors when acting in dramas, and she approached me warmly, asking me to join her. She is a really cool friend.”

In a game where she needed to fill in the next part of sentences, she made sentences such as “I’m afraid of myself,” “The biggest mistake I made was born as me.” “I like myself the most.” Dr. Oh commented, “I feel like you are constantly trying to prove your existence and ability.”

Goo Hye-sun responded, “I was obsessed with being in the entertainment industry at a young age, helping others, feeling I was not being human if I wasn’t productive,” and that her friend also seemed to have blocked their relationship because of this. Dr. Oh Eun-young cited Goo’s obsession to be a useful person, saying, “You don’t have to be too immersed in (such mindset),” and Goo Hye-sun looked back on herself, saying, “I don’t think I am loved because I am useful, and I recently realized unconditional love.”
