A surprise reunion between actress Go Hyun-jung and Annie, a member of the co-ed group AllDay Project, has become one of the most talked-about moments from the 20th W Korea Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Event, held on October 15 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul.
The two women, who were once connected through marriage, appeared at the same venue for the first time in years, sparking widespread curiosity and conversation online.

Go Hyun-jung married Chung Yong-jin, chairman of Shinsegae, in 1995 and had a son and a daughter before divorcing in 2003, citing personality differences.
Annie, on the other hand, is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairwoman Lee Myung-hee and the daughter of Shinsegae Department Store Chairwoman Chung Yoo-kyung making her Chung Yong-jin’s niece.

Although no photographs of the two interacting were released, their presence at the same event was enough to ignite discussions across social media.
Interestingly, this was not their first indirect interaction. Last month, Go Hyun-jung drew attention for “liking” a photoshoot post of Annie on W Korea’s official Instagram, surprising many with what fans described as a “Hollywood-style show of quiet support.”

Go Hyun-jung recently wrapped up her intense performance in the SBS drama Queen Mantis, where she portrayed a complex mother who is also a serial killer a role that earned her critical acclaim for her emotional depth and chilling nuance.

Meanwhile, Annie debuted earlier in June this year as a member of AllDay Project, which rose to fame with their double title tracks FAMOUS and WICKED. The group quickly gained traction both domestically and internationally and is currently preparing for a November comeback.

Their unexpected appearance under the same roof despite the family ties that dissolved two decades ago offered a rare glimpse into how personal history and professional paths can quietly intersect in the ever-evolving world of Korean entertainment.
