“Glitch” Jeon Yeo-bin mentioned what she cared about and what she struggled with while acting.
On the afternoon of Oct 6th, at CGV Centum City in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, the screening and GV (conversation with the audience) of Netflix’s series “Glitch” were held. Actors Jeon Yeo-bin, Ryu Kyung-soo, director Roh Deok and writer Gin Han-sai attended the event.
“Glitch” tells the story of a young woman who tries to track down her missing boyfriend with the help of a UFO-watching club. It had its premiere at the 27th Busan International Film Festival in the “On Screen” section, which presents OTT series. 9 drama series of the year were selected to be presented in this section.
Jeon Yeo-bin leads the series as Hong Ji-hyo, an alien eyewitness who searches for her boyfriend who suddenly evaporated from Earth.
Jeon Yeo-bin explained why she chose the work, “Ji-hyo is the most ordinary character, but I couldn’t tell what was inside her. I was curious about the adventure this friend would leave for.”
One audience member asked, “You played unusual characters in ‘Be Melodramatic’ and ‘Glitch’ to the extent that people called you a crazy girl. Wasn’t it hard?” Jeon Yeo-bin replied, “I’ve never had a hard time. The process of acting isn’t the reality. I try to constantly believe and approach unreal things as if they were the moments that truly happened.”
She added, “‘Glitch’ Ji-hyo and ‘Be Melodramatic’ Eun-jung may feel like crazy people, but I just believed in Ji-hyo. I tried to faithfully believe in Ji-hyo’s shaky moments, uncertain moments and anxious moments. It was fun acting.”
Meanwhile, “Glitch” will be released on Netflix on Oct 7th.
