The post, uploaded shortly after the SMTOWN Tokyo press conference last weekend, speculated whether Giselle had undergone another round of double eyelid surgery. The original poster wrote:
“Did Giselle get double eyelid surgery again? She looked fine on stage, but up close it’s really obvious… Still, I think she’s much prettier than before.”
Giselle attended the press event representing aespa alongside fellow SM Entertainment artists, greeting both fans and reporters. While many praised her on-stage visuals, others claimed her appearance looked noticeably different in close-up photos from the event, fueling the surgery rumors.
As the post spread, online reactions grew sharper, with some netizens making scathing remarks:
