A fan asked Shuhua about same-sex love and here’s her response.
On August 15, during a V Live broadcast to chat with fans, (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua read out a fan question in the comments that said, “I like a person who is the same sex as me. What should I do?”
To the fan’s concern, Shuhua gave them encouragement, saying, “Be brave enough to love that person, don’t worry.”
Another fan asked Shuhua, “What if my parents don’t approve of me being in a same-sex relationship?”. The female idol thought for a moment before she gave a sincere answer.
Shuhua said, “This is a good question. Being in a relationship is your own business, not your parents’ business. So I think you should try to have a serious talk with your parents. If your parents really love you, they should eventually accept you. Don’t worry. You don’t know how powerful love is.”
