(G)I-DLE’s Shuhua and Taiwanese actor Kai Ko, dating rumors? Cube says “Groundless”
Some netizens in the Chinese-speaking community are spreading rumors about a romantic relationship between (G)I-DLE's Shuhua and Taiwanese actor Kai Ko. In response, Shuhua's side stated that these rumors are "groundless"
On July 17th, a representative from Shuhua’s agency Cube Entertainment told Sports Donga that the dating rumors between Shuhua and Kai Ko are “not true“.
Earlier, on July 16th, Shuhua posted several photos of herself on SNS with the caption “Hey~ I love you”. Actor Kai Ko, known for his significant fandom in Korea due to films like “You Are the Apple of My Eye”, drew attention by commenting on the post with a smiling face emoji with closed eyes. This led some Chinese-speaking netizens to speculate that the two might be dating. Shuhua also attracted attention when she attended Kai Ko’s birthday party in Taiwan during her personal schedule in June. Following some of these reactions, Kai Ko deleted his comment.
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE, the group Shuhua belongs to, released their 7th mini-album “I SWAY” on July 8th and is currently promoting the title track “Klaxon”.
