(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon “I Left the Dorm and Became Independent + Felt Subtle Pressure”
(G)I-DLE's Miyeon revealed the reason she moved out of the dorm and started living independently
On July 10th, a video featuring (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Hyo’s Level Up”.
In the video, Hyoyeon asked, “Are you still living in the dorm?” Miyeon responded, “We’ve all moved out now. I was the last one to leave. The company didn’t tell me to leave, but there’s a different feeling between living in your own place and living in a dorm.”
Hyoyeon revealed, “I’m still living in the dorm. Since all the other members moved out, I’m practically the owner of a big house, so there was no reason for me to move out. Sometimes Yuri would come and go, which surprised me.”
Miyeon sympathized, “That was the same for me. I was living alone in the dorm, then suddenly someone would come in to shower.” She added, “I could have stayed, but the members kept asking when the contract would end, which gave me a subtle pressure. So, I decided to move out when the contract ended. I thought it would be nice to have my own place.”
