(G)I-DLE Miyeon replaces Red Velvet Joy as MC for “Animal Farm” for 4 weeks, “I watched the show a lot”
While Joy is resting due to health issues, (G)I-DLE Miyeon has been chosen to be a temporary MC for SBS’s “TV Animal Farm”.
Miyeon has appeared on “TV Animal Farm” as a special MC from June 4th. During the show, she said, “I will be a special MC for four weeks”. Regarding the reason she decided to join “TV Animal Farm” as a special MC, the female idol smiled and said, “I’ve been watching ‘TV Animal Farm’ a lot since I was young. Shuhua and I also raise dogs together in our dorm. I gained lots of good information from ‘TV Animal Farm’, so of course, I’m glad to appear on the show”. Miyeon also revealed her lovely daily life moments with her dogs Haku and Mata.
On June 6th, Miyeon uploaded a proof shot taken at the recording studio. Making a heart with her hand in the picture, Miyeon added the caption, “Please take care of me on ‘TV Animal Farm’ for 4 weeks”. Therefore, fans are raising high expectations for Miyeon’s performance as “TV Animal Farm” special MC.
Meanwhile, Joy announced her temporary suspension of activities due to health problems in April. At that time, her agency SM Entertainment said, “Joy recently visited the hospital due to poor health condition. After consultation and examination, medical staff advised that she need to receive treatment and take a rest”, adding “To focus on recovery Joy will not participate in any schedule for the time being. We apologize for causing concern to fans, and we ask for your understanding that our decision was made after thorough discussions for the sake of Joy’s health.”
