On October 6, Hana TV uploaded a behind-the-scenes video titled “The Only Threeshot! Kang Ho-dong x G-Dragon x Son Heung-min’s Knee-Drop Backstage Story.”
During the episode, host Kang Ho Dong noticed G-Dragon and Son Heung Min chatting comfortably and asked, “Do you two already know each other?” Son Heung-min smiled and replied, “Of course!”
Kang Ho-dong teased, “I think I read an article about your ‘world-class friendship.’ You even exchange gifts, right?”
G-Dragon laughed, saying, “They’re gifts from the heart.” He then added, “I wanted to give him a limited-edition perfume. He always gives me something too.”
Son Heung-min chuckled and said, “They’re just small gifts.”
When asked if he had always liked soccer, G-Dragon replied honestly, “It’s not that I’ve always loved soccer — I just really like Son Heung-min.”
Kang Ho-dong jokingly shot back, “Then what about wrestling?” Flustered, G-Dragon laughed and quickly answered, “I love wrestling champions too!”
Meanwhile, Son Heung-min admitted he’s a longtime fan of BIGBANG. “Is there anyone who doesn’t like them? We talked a lot when we first met,” he said, adding that he has recently been listening to G-Dragon’s new track “POWER.”
Kang Ho-dong playfully added, “I listen to ‘POWER’ every day too! I love his perfume as well — but I didn’t get any gifts!”
Later in the video, the trio held a “lucky draw” segment where they exchanged meaningful presents.
Kang Ho-dong drew a national team jersey prepared by Son Heung-min. Son Heung-min explained, “It’s nothing fancy — it’s one I wear when I play for the national team, and it holds my determination and effort.”
G-Dragon received a “happy tree” from Kang Ho-dong. Son Heung-min drew G-Dragon’s camping chair and table set.
Son Heung-min laughed, “I’ll set this up at home,” and G-Dragon added, “I don’t go camping much either, but I have one at home.” Son Heung-min replied with a grin, “Same here — I don’t camp either!”
The heartwarming exchange highlighted not only the playful chemistry between Kang Ho-dong, G-Dragon, and Son Heung-min, but also the genuine friendship shared between two global icons from different fields.
