Galaxy Corporation, the AI-based entertainment tech company representing G-Dragon, has been honored with a Presidential Citation by South Korea’s President Lee Jae Myung for its contributions to the successful hosting of the 2025 APEC Summit.

On January 20, the company announced it had received the award in recognition of its role in advancing national development through the summit. As the only entertainment tech firm involved at this level, Galaxy Corporation not only participated but played a standout role by appointing G-Dragon as an official ambassador for the event.
G-Dragon’s special performance during the summit’s welcoming banquet drew the attention of world leaders, including President Lee Jae Myung and Chinese President Xi Jinping, who were seated together during the show. Canadian Prime Prime Minister Mark Carney and other dignitaries were seen capturing the moment on their phones, highlighting the global allure of K-pop and its diplomatic power.

Galaxy Corporation CEO Choi Yong Ho shared his thoughts on the recognition: “This was more than just participation—it was a meaningful moment to showcase the global power of K-content.”
Having recently achieved unicorn status with a valuation exceeding 1 trillion KRW, Galaxy Corporation continues to expand its influence in global markets. The company also accompanied President Lee on his recent economic delegation to China, further solidifying its role as a cultural bridge between South Korea and international communities.
