G-Dragon’s Side: “October Comeback Mentioned by Park Myung-soo is Not Confirmed” 

The agency of G-Dragon has clarified that the October comeback mentioned by broadcaster Park Myung-soo is not confirmed.

 On August 1, a representative from G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, told Ten Asia, “The October comeback of G-Dragon is not true. The specific timing has not been decided yet. However, we plan to release a new album within this year, as we have announced a comeback in the second half of the year.”

Earlier, Park Myung-soo created a buzz by mentioning G-Dragon’s comeback. On the KBS Cool FM radio show “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show”, when asked by a listener whose song he would play if he could only play one between IU and G-Dragon, he responded, “(Ah) IU, I’m sorry,” and chose G-Dragon, drawing attention.

Park Myung-soo then further said that G-Dragon is going to make a comeback in “the month after next”, which led to speculations and excitement about G-Dragon’s potential October comeback.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for new music from G-Dragon for a long time. The last album released under his name was “Kwon Ji Yong” in 2017.
