On Oct 14th, a post titled “Jang Won-young GD New Evidence” was uploaded on an online community. The author of the post was convinced of the romantic relationship between G-Dragon and Jang Won-young. They listed the evidence materials they had collected one by one so far.
First, they claimed that G-Dragon and Jang Won-young wore Miu Miu costumes as couple items. The released photos showed Jang Won-young entering Korea via Incheon International Airport on Oct 6th after finishing the Paris Fashion Week schedule in France.
At that time, Jang Won-young appeared wearing a red cardigan and a Miu Miu bucket hat. Her outfit drew attention as it matched the design that G-Dragon wore in June. The author also noted that in July, G-Dragon posted a selfie on his Instagram story and inserted a speech bubble saying, “Who will you marry when you grow up?”
It is claimed that G-Dragon, who is 35 years old this year, was able to make such remarks because he was dating 19-year-old Jang Won-young, who is 16 years younger than him. The author then interpreted the fact that G-Dragon posted a call proof photo with a person who saved his mobile phone number as “My Love” through Instagram story in August as hinting at a “new relationship”.
Finally, they strengthened the dating rumors by referring to the fact that IVE’s fandom name “DIVE” was engraved on the phrase in the photo G-Dragon posted on Instagram.
Earlier, a YouTuber also uploaded a video of Jang Won-young and G-Dragon’s dating rumors. They cited the similarity between Jang Won-young’s clothes at the Miu Miu fashion show and G-Dragon’s outfit at the Chanel fashion show as evidence.
