fromis_9 Receives Love Calls + Comeback After Calling Out Neglect from Agency
After a member expressed frustrations about fromis_9’s lack of activities, the group’s schedule is starting to be filled up.
According to their agency, HYBE subsidiary Pledis Entertainment, on May 13, girl group “fromis_9” is gearing up for a comeback, while love calls for appearances at university festivals pour in.
In fact, fromis_9 will perform at the Seoul Dongyang University Festival on the 17th of this month. Then, on the 18th, they will meet with fans at the “Spring Breeze in Campus” stage at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Seoul. Additionally, they will also participate in ‘KBS KOREA ON STAGE’ held at Gyeongbokgung Palace on the 21st.
From June to August, famous festival schedules are scheduled. fromis_9 will kick off with the ‘Weverse Con Festival’ on June 16, followed by performances in Seoul (July 5) and Incheon (August 3) as part of the “Waterbomb 2024 Nationwide Tour”. In addition, discussions for various festivals and performances are actively underway with each organizer.
Additionally, Pledis stated that fromis_9 is also preparing for a comeback.
“Thanks to the support of flovers (fromis_9’s fandom name), the members are gaining great strength”, the company said, adding, “We plan to present various activities this year, not only music but also special photo exhibitions. We will spare no support for this.”
Meanwhile, fromis_9 previously drew attention after member Lee Chaeyoung raised accusations of neglect from the agency. At the time, the female idol expressed frustrations about fromis_9’s lack of activities compared to other HYBE artists.
