From “The Uncanny Counter”s wicked spirit to “Dr. Romantic 3”, the most drastic K-drama transformation

Ji Chung Shin, a villain who gave viewers chills with his wickedness in “The Uncanny Counter”, has undergone a complete transformation. 

Actor Lee Hong Nae, who displayed his acting skills as the hair-raising character of Ji Chung Shin in “The Uncanny Counter”, is making a perfect transformation in the upcoming drama, “Dr. Romantic 3”.

Dr. Romantic 3” is a series that depicts the life of real doctors in a rural hospital called Doldam. The first and second seasons, which were released in 2016 and 2020, both set records of breaking 27% in viewership ratings.

In this drama, Lee Hong Nae will take on the role of a new doctor, Lee Seon Woong, who is armed with passion and courage.

As a character who creates an interesting and exciting relationship with other “Doldam people” Lee Seon Woong is expected to attract attention to the story of season 3 with his unique solemn and human charm.

In the character poster for “Dr. Romantic 3” released on April 12th, Lee Seon Woong, with his short hair and doctor’s gown, exudes a gentle atmosphere.

Lee Seon Woong’s gaze towards the senior doctors at Doldam Hospital was also filled with admiration and wonder, raising curiosity about how he came to work there.

Meanwhile, Lee Hong Nae made his debut in 2014 with the movie “Fire in Hell” and later became known through his appearances in various projects such as “High Society”, “Door Lock”, “Save Me”, “The Uncanny Counter”, “The King: Eternal Monarch”, among others.
