From Rookie Award to Daesang Song of the Year, IVE won “triple crown” at the 2022 AAA

Girl group IVE got emotional as they held the trophy for the 2022 AAA’s Daesang “Song of the Year”

On December 13th, IVE was named as winner for the Grand Prize Daesang “Song of the Year” at the 2022 Asia Artist Award In Japan (hereinafter referred to as 2022 AAA), which is held at the Nihongaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan.

On this day, girl group IVE (Ahn Yu Jin, Ga Eul, Rei, Jang Won Young, Liz, and Leeseo) won a total of three awards, including Song of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Hot Trend Award, achieving a “triple crown”.

Upon receiving the trophies, Ahn Yu Jin said, “We won the grand prize at AAA. Thank you to all the Starship Entertainment family. Thank you to the staff. It is a meaningful day for us.” She then went on to explain that Jang Won Young is the MC of the ceremony, which is held in Rei’s hometown.

Jang Won Young also expressed her ambition and gratitude to fans, saying, “Thank you to DIVE (fandom of IVE), and please look forward to the year 2023.”

Meanwhile, 2022 AAA is a global NO.1 awards ceremony hosted by Star News and Media Boy and co-hosted by Asia Artist Awards Organizing Committee, The Star Partner, and Culture Entertainment.
