Former T-ARA Ahreum Reveals Shocking Images of Abuse from Ex-Husband
Ahreum, a former member of girl group T-ARA, revealed the full extent of abuse she suffered under the hands of her ex-husband.
On March 25, former T-ARA member Ahreum shared photos of several wounds she suffered under her ex-husband’s abuse and stated, “These photos were taken right after I escaped to my parents’ house with my child after being beaten (by my ex-husband) right in front of my child. My dress was torn apart, although it may not be visible here, I was covered in bruises all over. My nose was broken, and the next month, I suffered from bruises”.
The female celebrity also added, “However, because he acted apologetic, I became stupidly weak, and I couldn’t take a medical certificate at the hospital. The reason why I couldn’t press charges for the assault incident is due to significant reasons.”
“I feel sorry for my acquaintances and fans for only sharing things that would make them worry these days… I’m sorry. However, I couldn’t bear to stay unfairly treated anymore, so I posted this, and I will definitely overcome it and protect my children more firmly”, she also added.
Previously, it was revealed that Ahreum is currently in the process of divorcing her husband. She married a businessman two years her senior in 2019 and has two sons. However, in December last year, she suddenly announced her divorce and revealed a new boyfriend. She explained that she plans to start anew with her boyfriend once the divorce proceedings are finalized.
She later expressed sincere gratitude to fans for supporting her after she exposed her husband.
