The series titled “Além do Guarda-Roupa” (or “Beyond the Wardrobe”), is set in São Paulo, Brazil, and talks about a teenage girl who finds a teleportation portal in a closet and meets a K-pop idol in Seoul through this portal. “Além do Guarda-Roupa” is set to be released next year via the OTT streaming service HBO Max.

Kim Woo Jin plays Kyung Min, a cranky member of the fictional boy band Act. He stars alongside Brazilian actress Sharon Blanche, who is of Korean descent. Currently, the idol-turned-actor is in Brazil for filming and will return to Korea this June.

In an interview with a Brazilian media outlet, Kim Woo Jin said, “As I transformed into Kyung Min, I felt excited because I could once again debut as a boy group member like before.”

Previously, Kim Woo Jin debuted in 2018 as a member of Stray Kids. He left the group and JYP Entertainment in October 2019 due to a big scandal. He debuted as a solo act in July 2021 with his single “Still Dream”, under 10x Entertainment.
