Former “Produce 101” trainee Han Hye-ri delivers surprising news

Singer Han Hye-ri (25 years old) will challenge her first busking concert.

On October 13th, production company Nscreen announced through Wadiz that they opened the funding project “We invite you to the busking concert of singer Han Hye-ri” to give Han Hye-ri, a former member of group I.B.I, an opportunity to perform.

The main character of this project Han Hye-ri drew attention in 2016 as she participated in Mnet’s survival program “Produce 101” but failed to debut in the final group as she ranked 12th. She drew regrets from the public after being called out as one of the victims in Mnet’s vote manipulation.

She managed to get the chance to debut in a five-member project girl group I.B.I, which was greatly supported as it consists of talented trainees who were eliminated from the show, but the group activities were later suspended.

In order to continue her dream of being a singer, Han Hye-ri found a ‘window’ where she can communicate with fans through broadcasts and do music activities at the same time. In April, she released her first single album “Spring Day”.

Nscreen explained, “Han Hye-ri’s busking concert will not only provide the singer with new stage and broadcasting opportunities but also give fans the chance to enjoy the so-called ‘healing concerts’ as a culture in their daily lives and leave a special impression like a gift through YouTube contents”.

Parts of the profits collected from this funding project will be donated to the Miral Welfare Foundation and used for projects that provide emergency medical expenses support to infants and toddlers with disabilities. Various benefits, such as signed photocards, DVDs of the full busking concert, 1:1 photo shooting, handwritten letters, and figures, will also be prepared. Details can be found on Wadiz website.
