Rumors have it that former NCT member Taeil originally planned to not renew his contract with SM Entertainment to get married.
As Taeil left NCT due to being investigated for his alleged involvement in a sexual crime, additional accusations and rumors about the male idol have been resurfacing.
In particular, a post on SNS platform X regarding the contract renewal process of NCT members is being spread across the net, drawing significant attention.
“I heard that Moon Taeil planned to leave the group to get married. During the contract renewal process, he said that he won’t renew since he is considering marriage, but SM added more benefits so he changed his mind”, the author of the post said, adding, “Still, his actual reason for leaving the group is more shocking…. The sister of a friend of mine works for SM so she knows a lot”.
According to the same author, other members also tried to convince Taeil to stay when he was planning to leave, leading to an eventual renewal.
Upon seeing this, many netizens express condolences for NCT members, expressing regrets that they tried to keep the group whole only for Taeil’s action to end up ruining NCT’s image.
On the other hand, the police recently revealed that Taeil has been investigated since June of this year and the victim is an adult woman.
