‘Former national team athletic’ cast on “Physical: 100” investigated on charges of assaulting girlfriend… Weapon found at the scene

The police are investigating a former national team member who appears on Netflix’s show “Physical: 100” on charges of assaulting his girlfriend.

On February 23rd, the Gangnam Police Station announced that A, a male athlete in his 30s who used to play in the national team, has been booked and is being investigated on charges of special assaults.

According to the police, they received a report saying, ‘I got hit by my boyfriend. Please come here quickly’, from someone in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu at around 10:50 a.m. on the same day, and quickly dispatched a team to the scene.

The police accompanied A to the police station for investigation. A weapon was also found at the incident scene at that time, so the police will also check whether A actually used it for his assault.

A police officer said, “Blood was not found on the weapon”, adding “We are carefully checking the injuries again.”

It was not a life-threatening assault and A’s girlfriend is reportedly safe.

Meanwhile, another cast member B of “Physical: 100” was sent to the prosecution on suspicions of threatening his ex-girlfriend with self-harm actions on February 21st. B reportedly threatened his ex-girlfriend to give up on her breakup decision and continue dating him by punching his own face several times and hitting his head on the desk and wall.
