On September 14th, fellow racing model Jo In-young shared the news of Shin Hae-ri’s passing on her social media account, writing, “Please send your deepest condolences and prayers so our beloved Hae-ri will not be lonely on her final journey.“
A memorial service has been set up at Room 5 of The Joeun Nursing Hospital Funeral Hall in Nowon-gu, Seoul, with the funeral scheduled to take place on the afternoon of the 15th.
As news of her sudden passing spread, her colleagues left messages on her social media, expressing their grief. Comments like, “Dear Haeri, who was always so pure, go to a good place,” “We will miss you, sweet girl,” and “Rest now, I believe you’re in a beautiful place, as lovely as your face” were posted in her memory.
Born in 1992, Shin Hae-ri gained recognition after placing in the 2012 Miss Korea Gyeongnam competition and began her career as a racing model in 2014. Since 2018, she also served as a ring girl for Road FC, earning a large fanbase.
