Former IZ*ONE’s Lee Chaeyeon to make her solo debut in October 

Four years into her debut, Lee Chaeyeon is going solo. 

WM Entertainment told Dispatch on September 15th that Lee Chaeyeon is in the final stage of preparing for her solo album with the goal of releasing it next month.

Earlier, Lee Chaeyeon’s younger sister, ITZY’s Chaeryeong, already gave a spoiler for her solo debut. During her appearance on MBC-TV’s “Radio Star”, Chaeryeong said, “My sister is also preparing an album. It will come out great.”

Lee Chaeyeon competed on Mnet’s survival show “Produce 48” in 2018. She made it into the finale and was selected to debut in the project girl group IZ*ONE. IZ*ONE finished their official activities in April last year. Lee Chaeyeon is the 4th member of IZ*ONE to go solo after the group disbanded. Kwon Eunbi, Jo Yuri, and Choi Yena are currently active as soloists.

Last year, Lee Chaeyeon drew much attention by participating in Mnet’s dancing competition show “Street Woman Fighter”. She appeared as a member of the dance crew “Want” with famous choreographers and professional dancers.
