A former member from a famous girl group is allegedly in a relationship with a former host club player, heading towards marriage.
Former AKB48 member Mariya Nagao has been caught up in dating rumors with a former host club player known as Mr. A.
According to a report by a Japanese weekly magazine on July 9th, it was revealed that Mariya Nagao has a serious relationship with Mr. A, a former host club player.
The report stated that Mariya Nagao and A met through a mutual acquaintance. It also added that A used to work as a player at a host club in Kabukicho and once recorded sales of 100 million yen (approx. 700,000 USD).
Specific details about the alleged couple’s dates have also been revealed. In particular, on the 1st of last month, Mariya Nagao was seen at a sauna in Tokyo with A. At that time, A had tattoos on both arms.
After leaving the sauna, the couple got into a car arranged by A and went to a bar in Nishi-Azabu. Later on, Mariya Nagao and A were seen entering a luxury apartment in Tokyo together, after having drinks.
The magazine also claimed that although Mariya Nagao has her own house, she mostly stays at A’s place, and suggested that the couple seems to have already discussed marriage.
Meanwhile, Mariya Nagao has not made any specific statements regarding the dating rumors with A.
On the other hand, Mariya Nagao became an official member of the famous Japanese girl group AKB48 in 2010. She left the group in 2016, and has since been pursuing solo activities.
She has also established herself as an actress through appearances in dramas such as “Saki”, “Perfect Crime”, and “JK is a Snow Woman”, among others.
