On May 3, Chae Ryu Jin appeared on the Instagram account of “How Much,” where she introduced herself and shared details about her current life.
Chae Ryu Jin revealed that she is 174 cm tall and weighs 54 kg. When the production staff complimented her height, she responded, “When people ask for my number, they often ask if I’m a model.”
She also spoke about her ideal type. When asked whether height matters, she replied, “I don’t look at height. Since I’m already tall, many people are actually shorter than me.”

Naming Lee Jin Wook as her ideal type, she jokingly answered “Up to 60 years old” when asked about the maximum age she would consider for a romantic partner.
Discussing her current work, Chae Ryu Jin shared, “I’m working as a streamer on Chzzk.” During the conversation, when someone commented on her husky voice, she candidly revealed, “I’m actually transgender.”
She added that before becoming a streamer, she had been active as a male idol, saying, “I once participated in the audition program Boys24.”

Addressing prejudice against transgender individuals, Chae Ryu Jin firmly stated, “Meet me first before judging. I don’t smell and I’m not dirty I smell like perfume,” emphasizing her stance against harmful stereotypes.
Before her transition, Chae Ryu Jin appeared under the name Chae Ho Cheol on the 2016 Mnet audition program Boys24. She later debuted in 2022 as part of the multinational seven-member boy group JWiiver under the stage name Ryujei. However, the group disbanded the following year.
After JWiiver’s disbandment, she changed her name to Chae Ryu Jin and began her career as an influencer. She publicly came out as transgender during a live broadcast last year.
