“Money Heist: Joint Economic Area” is the Korean remake of Netflix’s original Spanish drama “Money Heist,” which tells the story of a robbery group targetting the Mint of Unified Korea.

According to Flick Patrol, a video streaming ranking aggregation site, “Money Heist: Joint Economic Area” is gaining huge popularity as soon as it is released, ranking third in the Netflix TV show category around the world.

However, some people are criticizing this series as Netflix has decided to adopt the method of introducing “Money Heist: Joint Economic Area” in two different parts.

Users complained, “I feel like my watching experience has been disturbed,” “They are teasing us too much,” and “I won’t watch because Netflix is being cheap.

Currently, only Part 1, which consists of episodes 1 to 6, is revealed.

Part 2, where you can watch the remaining six episodes, is scheduled to be revealed in the second half of this year, and the exact date is still unknown.

Netflix

Netflix previously released “Stranger Things Season 4” by dividing them into two different parts which are released about a month apart.

This is analyzed to be Netflix’s method of preventing subscribers from leaving.

Netflix

In the first quarter of this year, the number of Netflix’s paid subscribers worldwide decreased by about 200,000 in 11 years. Netflix predicted that the number of subscribers will decrease by another 2 million in the second quarter of this year.

Until now, Netflix has been praised by users for allowing its subscribers to watch its entire original content at once, so some people are bitter about the “splitting” method. Among them, many are paying attention to whether Netflix will apply this “splitting” method to other contents in the future.
