With actress Park Ji Hyun no longer returning for Season 2, SBS’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama Flex X Cop 2 has revealed an impressive lineup of special guest stars ahead of its August premiere.

Set to debut on August 7, Flex X Cop 2 follows wealthy detective Jin Yi Soo, who uses his fortune to crack difficult cases, and new team leader Joo Hye Ra as they team up to solve crimes in a fast-paced investigative comedy. The series is expected to continue SBS’s successful lineup of action-driven dramas, joining titles such as Taxi Driver, The Fiery Priest, and The Judge from Hell.

The drama will succeed So Ji Sub's hit series Agent Kim Reactivated, which recently reached a peak nationwide rating of 21.6%. To maintain the momentum, SBS has assembled an extensive list of guest stars. The lineup includes Kim Eui Sung, who previously made a cameo in Season 1, along with child actress Park So Yi, Lee Hak Joo, veteran actor Choi Deok Moon, scene-stealer Lee Seok, and Son Woo Hyun.

Additional special appearances will feature Heo Sung Tae, Jung Chae Yeon, Jeon Hye Bin, Joo Hyun Young, acclaimed musical actress Min Kyung Ah, veteran actress Kim Hye Eun, and Yoo Seung Ho.

The production team explained that they deliberately cast well-known actors throughout Season 2 to subvert viewers’ expectations. “For Season 2, we carefully selected actors for each episode to break the formula that ‘the famous cameo is always the culprit.’ We’re grateful to work with talented actors who bring both outstanding performances and strong recognition.”

The team added that they hope viewers will enjoy solving each case alongside the Kangha Police’s Violent Crimes Unit and promised an entertaining new season filled with surprises.
