FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena wore a relaxed smile as she departed for Los Angeles to attend the “2023 Billboard Music Awards” (2023 BBMAs)
On Nov 16th, FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena departed for Los Angeles, USA for the “2023 BBMAs” scheduled for Nov 19th.
At the airport, Keena displayed a mature look with long black hair. She brightened up the surroundings with lovely smile and sweet finger heart.
Keena shared her thoughts, “I’m honored to go to the Billboard. I’ll do my best.”
She also conveyed greetings to the fans who have been waiting for her, “Hunny (FIFTY FIFTY’s fandom name), I really missed you. See you soon.”
FIFTY FIFTY is nominated in the Top Duo/Group category and Top Global K-Pop Song category at the “2023 BBMAs”.
In the Top Duo/Group category, they are nominated alongside Metallica, Fuerza Regida, Eslabon Armado and Grupo Frontera. In the Top Global K-Pop Song category, they are nominated along with BTS’s Jimin, Jungkook and NewJeans.
According to the agency, as the awards ceremony is conducted in a non-face-to-face manner, Keena plans to attend a private party on Nov 18th to build relationships with global music officials. At this event, Attrakt USA’s COO Kim Se-hwang will also be in attendance.
Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY achieved significant success with their 1st single album “Cupid” released in February.
However, in June, the group faced a crisis when all four members submitted a request to the court to suspend the effect of their exclusive contracts, citing a loss of trust with the agency.
The court ruled in favor of Attrakt, but FIFTY FIFTY continued to expose Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon.
Recently, member Keena returned to the agency. Attrakt notified the remaining members – Sio, Aran and Saena – of the termination of their exclusive contracts.
