FIFTY FIFTY’s agency sues ‘The Givers’ CEO, “They secretly purchased the copyright of the song ‘Cupid’”

The agency of the girl group FIFTY FIFTY reportedly sued a service contract company.

On June 27th, FIFTY FIFTY’s agency Attrakt said, “Today, we filed a criminal complaint against Ahn Sung Il, CEO of The Givers, and three others at Gangnam Police Station”.

The Givers is the company that has been responsible for managing and working on projects under a service contract with Attrakt. Attrakt claimed, “During the process of transferring project tasks, The Givers engaged in obstruction of business, fraud, and breach of trust, including deleting project-related data, delaying in taking over tasks and deleting company’s mail accounts, etc.”

In addition, the agency stated, “During the process of purchasing the song ‘Cupid’ from a foreign composer, The Givers did not provide any information to Attrakt regarding the purchase of copyrights. The CEO and the company secretly did it by themselves.”

An official stated, “In addition to serious suspicions, there may be additional criminal complaints if more evidence emerges.”

Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY achieved remarkable records, including charting on US Billboard “HOT 100” for 13 consecutive weeks with the song “Cupid” released in February. However, Attrakt later revealed that there was an internal conflict as external forces were trying to approach the members and manipulate them to violate their exclusive contracts with the agency.
