On August 9th, Attrakt uploaded a video titled “HELLO FIFTY FIFTY” on the group’s official YouTube channel.

The video showed FIFTY FIFTY members running around and playing a seesaw. At the end of the video, there was a caption saying “Perfect balance at last”.

In response to the video, netizens commented, “I think they’ll be successful. The logo and the members’ chemistry look good and I can see the company spend a lot of money on them”, “You worked hard, Keena. I hope the CEO and the members will walk on a flower road”, “Wow their faces are so pretty. They look like a group from the beginning”, etc.

As expected, the video disclosed Chanelle Moon, Yewon and Hana as the new members.

Born in the US in 2003, Chanelle Moon is a Korean-American. She made her face known to the public after participating in JTBC’s “Stage K” and “R U Next”. Yewon, who was born in 2005, also competed in “R U Next”. Hana was born in 2006 and she ran a YouTube channel called “Singing Haram” before making her debut. The original member Keena was born in 2002.

The name of the last member has yet to be released, and Attrakt hinted at her identity with several emoticons such as rabbit, turtle, microphone, and dancer.

FIFTY FIFTY is the first girl group introduced by Attrakt in November 2022. Last year, the group released the hit song “Cupid”, which dominated domestic and international charts. However, after becoming successful with “Cupid”, the members requested a termination of their exclusive contract and started a legal dispute. Amid the conflict, Keena decided to return to Attrakt.

Later, Attrakt announced the termination of Saena, Sio, and Aran’s contracts but the legal battle continues.

FIFTY FIFTY will take a leap forward after overcoming the controversy with new members. The group plans to make a comeback on September 20th.
