The official statement issued by ATTRAKT is as belows:

“Hello, this is ATTRAKT.

First of all, we would like to express our infinite gratitude to domestic and international fans for their generous support to our artists over the past few months.

We are well aware that many fans are curious and concerned about why our artists have not been active during this crucial period. The truth is, one of our members experienced medical symptoms, and after consulting with the member and their family, we proceeded with the treatment according to the doctor’s instructions, culminating in a surgery on May 2nd. Based on the doctor’s diagnosis that a recovery period of at least one to two months is necessary, we decided to suspend the activities of all members and provide them with the rest they needed, prioritizing their health above all else.

During this period, we have made extensive efforts to expand and improve our existing systems to better support our artists. Our fundamental policy is to pursue the long-term growth and development of our artists, rather than focusing solely on immediate benefits.

However, while we have been diligently preparing, we have identified external forces that are approaching our artists and enticing them to violate their exclusive contracts with us. These external forces are engaging in illegal activities, manipulating our artists into making misguided decisions by criticizing us with false accusations and glorifying themselves, thereby disregarding valid exclusive contracts and inducing our artists to enter into contracts with them.

Such actions by external forces trample upon the pure love of fans and can greatly damage the image and future potential of our artists, who have debuted only seven months ago. Furthermore, it can have serious adverse effects on the entire K-pop industry.

Although we started as a small company, we had a strong dream and overcame difficulties, writing a new chapter in the history of K-pop. Even at this moment, we are continuing to write this new history, receiving enthusiastic support not only from fans in Korea but also from fans around the world. We cannot contain our anger towards the unlawful acts of these impure external forces attempting to snatch away this tremendous miracle achieved by a small and powerless agency. However, we will respond calmly and resolutely, fighting until the end without any compromise, holding them legally accountable.

Thank you.”
