Fans Show Worries as NewJeans Face Death Threat
Hashtags about protecting NewJeans are trending SNS platforms as a death threat was raised against the members.
On June 24, an article showing the image of a knife and titled “I bought this to use when NewJeans hold a fanmeeting” was published on the Korean forum DC Inside, drawing attention.
The author of the article basically made a death threat against NewJeans members, adding, “When NewJeans get off the van, I’m gonna give them one (stab) each”.
So far, screenshots of the article have spread around on SNS platforms, worrying fans of NewJeans, especially as the group will be holding their fanmeeting soon.
As a result, fans are tagging ADOR in related posts and calling for the company to take action against the death threats. Additionally, they are trending the hashtag #ADORTAKEACTION and the key word “ADOR PROTECT NEWJEANS” on SNS platforms such as X (formerly Twitter).
