In the world of competitive League of Legends (LoL), the name Faker is synonymous with dominance. The mid‑lane ace has now further solidified his legacy by posting the highest win rate ever with the champion Azir yet ironically, Azir may never become Faker’s signature Worlds skin champion.
According to stats from DPM.LOL, Faker has played around 197 games on Azir, posting a win rate of 70.1%.

His tournament and professional stats likewise highlight this as his most reliable pick: Azir games show strong CS, gold differential, and KDA values, all pointing to his mastery of the champion.
Given such dominance, many fans expected Azir to be the obvious choice for a “Worlds skin” (a special skin awarded or associated with major championship milestones for pro players). But in the Reddit community and other forums, a consistent theory has emerged: Faker may be refraining from picking Azir out of respect for his former teammate Easyhoon, who was known for his Azir play and already has an SKT T1 Azir skin.

As one user put it: “I doubt we’ll ever get a Faker Azir skin because he probably doesn’t want to overshadow Easyhoon’s Azir legacy.” It’s not confirmed by Faker or his team, but the idea resonates with his reputation: humble, respectful, and aware of his team’s history.
At Worlds 2025, Faker once again used Azir in a match and posted a perfect KDA, reinforcing the choice as not just nostalgic but still competitively potent.
Despite this, the absence of a dedicated worlds skin for Azir under his name only fuels further speculation.
