“Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo”: drastic rise in viewership ratings + Park Eun Bin’s advertisement fees

The huge popularity of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo” doubled the CF rates for its star actress Park Eun Bin. 

Actress Park Eun Bin, who plays the female lead in ongoing K-drama “Extraordinary Woo Young Woo” has become the talk of town for audiences both in and outside of Korea.  With her outstanding visuals and spectacular acting prowess, the actress has received numerous advertisement deals from all sorts of brands, and her fees to appear in a CF film has also seen a noticeable growth. 

In particular, an industry insider revealed that previously, Park Eun Bin earned around 200 million won per year from advertisements (around 150,000 USD). However, after the impact of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo”, the actress now receives a grand total of 400 million won (300,000 USD), despite the series only being half-way through. At the rate the K-drama is growing, Park Eun Bin will witness even higher offers in the future, the insider said.

In addition, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo” is also experiencing phenomenal increases in viewership ratings. Episode 5 of this K-drama, which aired on July 13th, recorded a rating of 9.1% nationally and 10.3 in urban areas, a substantial improvement from the 0.9% rating of the 1st episode.
