“Extraordinary Attorney Woo”: Terrible ending for the husband who cheated on his wife and demanded divorce after becoming rich due to lottery
“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” Shin Il-soo (played by Heo Dong-won) did a terrible thing to his wife Sung Eun-ji (played by Park Ji-yeon) and ended up with a terrible ending.
In episode 11 of ENA’s “Extraordinary Attorney Woo“, which aired on August 3rd, Shin Il-soo changed 180 degrees after pretending to be a beloved husband.
Shin Il-soo bought a lottery ticket with two people he met at the gambling house and they decided to share the prize money if they win. However, Yoon Jae-won (played by Jung Ji-ho), who won the first prize of 6.2 billion won equivalent to 4.2 billion won after tax, broke his promise, and Shin Il-soo went to law firm Hanbada to sue him.
Shin Il-soo visited Hanbada while carrying his wife Sung Eun-ji, who had broken heels, and showed the aspect of a beloved husband.
However, on the second pleading date, defendant Yoon Jae-won claimed that Choi Da-hye (played by Seo Hye-won), a gambling house employee who attended as Shin Il-soo’s witness, had an inappropriate relationship with Shin Il-soo.
Although Choi Da-hye said it was not true, Woo Young-woo (played by Park Eun-bin) witnessed Shin Il-soo sending a finger heart to Choi Da-hye during the trial. Shin Il-soo and Choi Da-hye had an affair. Shin Il-soo cheated on Sung Eun-ji, who runs a kimbap restaurant to feed her family.
Afterwards, Shin Il-soo won the trial and revealed his true colors when he was allocated 1.4 billion won. Shin Il-soo messed up Sung Eun-ji’s kimbap restaurant and walked affectionately with Choi Da-hye. He even demanded a divorce from Sung Eun-ji.
Then, Shin Il-soo, who was chasing after Sung Eun-ji in a newly purchased supercar, was hit by a dump truck and passed away.
After Shin Il-soo’s funeral, Woo Young-woo walked down the street with Lee Joon-ho (played by Kang Tae-oh) and said, “Sung Eun-ji and her kids will be inheriting the remaining 1.1 billion won from the lottery prize that Shin Il-soo left. Because he was still married at the time of his death.”
Woo Young-woo added, “On top of that, they will receive 300 million won from his life insurance. So a total of 1.4 billion won. The same amount that was distributed to Shin Il-soo through the trial.”
Lee Joon-ho said, “1.4 billion won really took a long way to find its owner.”
