Despite the ongoing lawsuit between Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin, and SM Entertainment, EXO will be filming a group reality show.

On June 8th, SM Entertainment, the agency of EXO, told media outlet Newsen that EXO is planning to film a group reality show in Korea.

EXO is currently preparing for a comeback, which is expected to be within this year. For this upcoming album promotion, seven EXO members, excluding Kai who recently enlisted, are expected to participate. The filming for the music video of the new song is also underway.

Meanwhile, EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin claimed on June 1st that they were coerced into unfair contracts by their agency, SM Entertainment. The three members requested SM to provide them with accounting records, but when they did not receive them, they announced that they terminated their existing exclusive contracts with SM.

In response, SM Entertainment claimed that they have identified “external forces” approaching Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin, delivering false information and incorrect legal evaluations, at the same time disregarding their exclusive contracts.

Despite the intense dispute between Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin, and SM, they are united in their preparations for EXO’s comeback.

Regarding this, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin released an additional official statement, saying, “We value EXO members above anything else. We have spent half of our lives together, going through ups and downs. We will never betray the members, and in any situation, EXO will be our top priority.”
