EXO Chanyeol explained about his long hair.
EXO Chanyeol, actor Jang Ki-yong and ONF Hyojin, the main characters of the army musical “Blue Helmet: A Song of Meissa”, appeared as guests on the “Special Invitation” section of SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show” broadcast on March 10th.
On this day, Chanyeol, Jang Ki-yong and Hyojin introduced themselves as Corporal Park Chan-yeol, Private Jang Ki-yong and Private Kim Hyo-jin. At the rather unfamiliar introduction, the two DJs burst into laughter and asked what salary class they are currently receiving. Hyojin and Chanyeol were respectively the first grade and the fifth grade, while Jang Ki-yong received the rank of corporal two months later. Hwang Je-sung commented, “The facial expressions vary by class.”
Kim Tae-gyun said Chanyeol‘s skin is so good that he does not seem to have suffered. Chanyeol replied, “It’s not that I didn’t suffer. I’m preparing for a musical, I have to go on stage, so I’m working hard on skincare.”
Regarding his long hair, he explained, “These two (Hyojin and Jang Ki-yong) play the role of soldiers. In my case, I’m inevitably growing my hair because I take on the role of an idol.“
Meanwhile, the army musical “Blue Helmet: A Song of Meissa” starring them will be performed at Daesung D-cube Arts Center from March 18th to May 8th.
