EXO and TWICE have been selected as the 77th Charity Angels as they rank No.1 in the Hall of Fame for male and female group cumulative rankings in idol popularity ranking service of the popular idol voting app ChoeAedol.
This ranking was determined by constant votes from domestic and foreign fans within 30 days from January 17th to February 15th.
EXO took 1st place in the male group’s February ranking and has earned the title of Charity Angels for 14 months in a row. So far, EXO’s donations have exceeded 34.5 million won with a total of 69 donations, consisting of 47 donation angels and 22 donation fairies. The 2nd place among boy groups in the Hall of Fame is BTS, and the 3rd place belongs to MONSTA X.
EXO is reportedly planning to release the 3rd season of their own reality show, ‘Traveling the World on EXO’s Ladder’ on OTT platform Wavve this year. Additionally, EXO’s leader Suho, who recently completed his military service, will officially greet fans again through a live broadcast on bofficial YouTube channel at 9 pm KST on February 19th.
In the female group category, TWICE ranked first in the cumulative rankings and was selected as Charity Angels for their 18th consecutive month. So far, TWICE’s donations have crossed 28.5 million won, with 57 donations in total, including 43 donation angels and 14 donation fairies. BLACKPINK came in 2nd place in the girl group’s Hall of Fame, and Secret Number took 3rd place.
TWICE has been gaining worldwide popularity with their 3rd full album ‘Formula of Love: O+T=<3’ released in 2021 by debuting at No.3 on ‘Billboard 200’ and spending 8 weeks on the chart. Currently, TWICE is meeting global fans on their 4th world tour in North America.
