EXID’s Hani & Psychiatrist Boyfriend Reportedly Getting Married This September
EXID member & actress Hani and her psychiatrist boyfriend Yang Jae-woong are getting married this autumn after dating publicly
On May 31st, articles reporting that Hani and Yang Jae-woong will hold their wedding ceremony this September broke out. In response, Hani’s agency said to XportsNews, “We ask for your understanding that it is difficult to confirm the news because it’s the actress’s personal matter.”
Hani officially acknowledged her romantic relationship with psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong in June 2022. Hani was born in 1992 and Yang Jae-woong was born in 1982 so the two are 10 years apart.
Back then, Hani’s agency said, “The two are dating happily”. Yang Jae-woong also shared, “Please keep showing us warm interest so that we can continue our beautiful relationship in the future”. Since then, Hani and Yang Jae-woong have confidently shown affection for each other in public.
Hani released photobooth photos taken with her father and her boyfriend Yang Jae-woong on SNS in March last year. Later in an interview, she shared, “My father had never met my boyfriend so we arranged a meal together. I was very worried, but the talk went well so I wanted to record the memory of that day. They wanted to take a picture so I decided to take a photobooth photo. I felt so relieved. My father is in Gyeongsang-do so he doesn’t show his feelings but I guess he was satisfied knowing his daughter is living happily”.
In September last year, Hani also revealed that she had written a love letter to Yang Jae-woong on an MBC program. Jeon Hyun-moo carefully asked Hani, “Are you still writing love letters?”. In response, Hani said, “When I feel like he’s having a hard time, I write post-it with messages such as ‘Be strong’ in a cute way”. In November of the same year, the female singer also posted a two-shot picture of her hugging Yang Jae-woong to celebrate their 999th day of dating.
Appearing in a “Sebasi Talk” video released in January this year, Hani confessed her hardships after EXID’s song “Up & Down” became viral again, and Yang Jae-woong was sitting in the auditorium listening to his girlfriend’s speech.

Yang Jae-woong is a psychiatrist. He has also been active as a broadcaster on many programs, such as Channel A’s “Heart Signal”, tvN’s “Secret Garden”, “MBC’s “War of Roses”, etc. He’s also the younger brother of psychiatrist and broadcaster Yang Jae-jin.
