“Executioner” Lee Do Hyun vs “nice bastard” Jung Sung Il… Who will become Song Hye Kyo’s revenge sword in “The Glory” Part 2?

Ahead of “The Glory” Part 2 release, fans are guessing the man who will become Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo)’s true sword when she begins to take revenge in earnest.

Will that be Doctor Joo (Lee Do Hyun), who claimed to be an “executioner who does the sword dance” for Dong Eun, or Yeon Jin’s husband (Jung Sung Il), known as a “nice bastard”? Season 2 of “The Glory” is expected to make the viewers go wild with new developments of the main characters and the villains.

“The Glory”, the first revenge drama of famous writer Kim Eun Sook and actress Song Hye Kyo, tells about a woman whose soul was broken due to the experience of school violence in her school days, the desperate revenge plan she has spent all her life preparing, and people who fall into the revenge whirlwinds.

◆ ‘Executioner’ Joo Yeo Jung (Lee Do Hyun) with a syringe

Joo Yeo Jung is the only son of the hospital’s director and Moon Dong Eun’s Go teacher. He endures pain due to the murder of his father in the past and always wants to take revenge. After meeting Moon Dong Eun, he is determined to wield his sword to help Moon Dong Eun take revenge.

Joo Yeo Jung is a straightforward man younger than Moon Dong Eun, whom he falls in love at first sight with. Although Moon Dong Eun doesn’t have the same feeling for him, he cherishes his pure love and always waits for her patiently. This character has strong emotions but does not often express them. He deeply sympathizes with Moon Dong Eun’s pain.

Since Joo Yeo Jung has too little screen time in Part 1, his charm has not been clearly portrayed so viewers tend to be attracted to Jung Sung Il more. However, in Part 2, Joo Yeo Jung is expected to shine as he has started carrying a surgical knife around all the time and picking up a syringe, making fans curious about his next moves.

◆ ‘Nice guy’ Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il) becomes a bastard after figuring out the secret of his wife Yeon Jin?

Ha Do Young is the CEO of Jaepyeong Construction and Park Yeon Jin’s husband. He has a daughter 3 years after marrying Yeon Jin. His family lives in a luxury mansion in Semyeong. While playing Go at a Go club, Ha Do Young is impressed by Moon Dong Eun’s excellent skills. Knowing Dong Eun has a bad relationship with his wife Yeon Jin, he decides to listen to Dong Eun’s story first.

Ha Do Young’s screen time in Part 1 was enough to reveal his charms and portray his ‘poisonous’ chemistry with Moon Dong Eun. This character is a fool for his daughter Ha Ye Sol. He stays calm and shows unwavering expression despite the provocative words of Jeon Jae Joon, Ye Sol’s real father.

It is still unknown whether Ha Do Young will decide to be on the side of his wife or Moon Dong Eun. This is one of the points that keep viewers waiting for the release of “The Glory” Part 2 nervously.
