Ex-T-ara Areum Attempted Extreme Choice After Exposing Ex-Husband
It was reported that former T-ara member Areum (Han Ah-reum) recently tried to attempt an extreme choice but failed
On March 27th, OSEN reported that Areum was taken to a hospital for treatment after being found attempting an extreme choice.
According to the report, Areum seems to have made an extreme decision due to the stress and pressure in the process of divorcing her ex-husband and the extortion of money from mobile phone hacking.
Earlier in 2019, Areum married a businessman who is two years older than her and has two sons. However, she announced her divorce in December last year and a plan to remarry her new boyfriend. Areum later claimed that her children were abused by her ex-husband during their divorce process.
On the 25th, Areum released several evidence photos. The pictures show Areum in a torn dress standing with her chest covered with her arms and her face full of scars. The former T-ara member said, “Photos were taken right after I was assaulted by my husband in November 2021”, adding “They were taken right after I ran away to my parents’ house on the day he mercilessly beat me in front of the child. All of the dresses I often wore were torn and although it didn’t show clearly, there were a lot of bruises here and there. My nose bone was bent”.
Meanwhile, Areum made her debut as a member of T-ara through the mini album “DAY BY DAY” in 2012 but withdrew from the group in 2013. She recently appeared on JTBC’s program “Sing Again 3”.
